JFQ-KJG-WN Paddle Dryer for Sludge

Hollow Paddle Dryer can indirectly  heat or cool the paste,granules and powder or slurry materials.It is a combined unit for drying, cooling, sterilizing,reacting or low temperature calcining.This special wedge type processor use agitator form to develop its higher efficient of heat transfer.The wedge-shaped agitator blades are self-cleaning.

It is one kind of continuous and energy-saving dryer.There are wedge- shaped hollow paddles in hollow axis,and heat medium is from-40℃ to 320℃,the heat medium is steam or hot air or heat conduction oil and so on.Indirectly heating way does not take the energy,so the energy is used for heating material.The energy loss is only heat emission of heat- keeping layer.

The transferring heat of wedge-shape side takes cleaning actions.It can clean waste material in wedge-shaped size.The body of wedge-shaped hollow paddle dryer is W shape.There are 2-4 hollow mixing axes in the body.In order to avoid discharging material dust and to collect material solvent,there is a sealed cover on top of body.A baffle is on the outlet of discharging material,in order to keep the height of materials.The heat medium(such as steam or thermal oil)will flow into chamber jacket and hollow mixing axis through rotary join.

Hollow mixing axis  has  different  inner  structures  according  to  different  types  of heat medium,which will ensure of best heat transfer efficient.

What is a Sludge Paddle Dryer?

The FANQUN sludge paddle dryer is an efficient and energy-saving sludge treatment equipment.

The hollow blades inside it constantly stir, turn and squeeze the sludge while rotating slowly, which allows the sludge to fully contact the high-temperature surface of the blades and thus evaporate the water.

Our equipment can dry wet sludge with high moisture content into granular dry materials. It features high thermal efficiency, stable operation and strong adaptability, which is widely used in the reduction and resource utilization of municipal and industrial sludge.

The Working Principle of the Sludge Paddle Dryer

  • Step 1: The wet sludge (with a moisture content typically around 65%) after initial mechanical dewatering is conveyed into our sludge paddle dryer by conveying equipment.
  • Step 2: The hollow blades rotate slowly, constantly stirring and turning the sludge, and pushing it towards the discharge port. Heat is continuously transferred to the sludge through the shaft and blade wall of the hollow blades.
  • Step 3: The water in the sludge evaporates due to heat, and the water vapor is discharged from the exhaust system of the equipment.
  • Step 4: Under the action of stirring and squeezing, the sludge is gradually dried and crushed into particles with low moisture content. The dried sludge particles are discharged from the discharge port.
  • Step 5: The exhaust gas carrying moisture and a small amount of dust is separated from the moisture by the condenser. The non-condensable gas then enters the deodorization system for treatment and is discharged up to standard.

When the blades rotate towards each other on the two shafts, they rub against each other and can automatically remove the sludge adhering to their surfaces. Low-Speed Rotation
